Who runs this site

AI Untapped is a personal project run by Dusty, based in the United Arab Emirates. No company entity, no corporate machine — just one person and a newsletter. Contact: privacy@aiuntapped.ai.

What I collect, and why

Three categories of data:

• Your email address — when you subscribe through the form. Used only to send you the newsletter. When you submit the form, your email is sent to Beehiiv (the platform that runs the newsletter) and you may land on a Beehiiv-hosted page to confirm.
• How you engage with the newsletter — Beehiiv records whether each email is delivered, opened, and which links you click, plus how you found the signup form. This helps me see what's useful and improve what I send. It is never sold.
• Basic technical data — when you visit the site, Cloudflare (my CDN) sees your IP address and browser info for security and rate limiting. This is standard for every website and isn't tied to your identity.

I don't use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any other tracking. There's no advertising network on this site.

Who I share data with

Three services touch your data, each for a specific reason:

• Beehiiv (my newsletter platform) — stores your subscription, sends the newsletter on my behalf, and records delivery and engagement data (opens, clicks, acquisition source). Beehiiv is a US-based company and processes your data under its own privacy policy, which means your data is stored and processed in the United States.
• Cloudflare — serves the website and provides DDoS protection. Sees IPs and request logs but not the contents of any form submission tied to you personally.
• Google Fonts — the site loads two typefaces from Google's font servers. Google sees that your IP loaded a font file. I don't see this data; Google does.

That's the entire list. No third-party marketing tools, no advertising data exchanges, no list-sharing with other newsletters.

How long I keep your data

Your email stays in my list until you unsubscribe. When you click unsubscribe (every newsletter has a one-click link), your email is removed within a few days. If you want me to delete it sooner, email privacy@aiuntapped.ai and I'll do it within 30 days.

Your rights

You can ask me, any time:

• What data I have about you (it's basically just your email + when you subscribed)
• To delete your data
• To export your data in a portable format
• To stop sending you emails (just unsubscribe — no email needed)

All of these are handled by emailing privacy@aiuntapped.ai. I'll respond within a few days.

Cookies

This site sets only essential cookies via Cloudflare for security (bot detection and rate limiting). There are no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies, no tracking cookies. That's why there's no cookie consent banner — under EU and UK rules, essential cookies for security don't require active consent.

Changes to this policy

If anything material changes — new tools added, new data collected — I'll update this page and bump the "last updated" date at the top. For meaningful changes (like adding analytics), I'll also send a note in the newsletter so subscribers know.

Complaints

If you think I'm handling your data badly, email me first at privacy@aiuntapped.ai — I'll fix it. If you'd rather escalate, you have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
